Better:
“Hi everyone – hope you enjoy the beginning of summer! We have an exciting (and challenging) in a few weeks in [company], and I am delighted to share my progress.”
I like to think intro as a “small thing” before the main conversation. It sets Tone.
2. Key highlights (TL; DR)
Think of it as an executive summary. Investors are busy. Will do some skim. If they just read this section, they should go with the necessary things.
Example:

- Increased turnover by 30% month and month
- Partnership with [BigCo]
- VP for engineering welcome
Pro tips: Hold it up to 3-5 tablets. If everything is a “highlight”, nothing is there.
4. Products and operations
This section answers: What are you building and how are you doing?
Instead of a laundry list of features, talk about the results. Improved a new release adaptation? Did you cut the time in two? Investors care about the effect, not just about activity.
Analogy Time: Imagine updating a friend about your training trip. Instead of saying this, “I did 20 push-ups and 30 squats,” you say, “I can now run 5k without stopping.” The same argument here.
5. Development and marketing
Number one tells the story, but how to get these numbers, it’s just as important. Share procurement strategies, campaign benefits and PR coverage.
For example, in one of my updates, I mentioned carelessly that we launched a small $500 ticket campaign, and gave 1000 registrations. An investor replied, “Double down on it!” Sometimes investors look at your pattern.
6. Partnership and business development
This is the section “Future Length”. Although the offers are not closed, you must mention the conversation (without violating privacy). This indicates speed.
I once wrote:

7. Team and culture
Investors back to the people, not just the product. Show them who is on board and how culture develops.
